About Me
Kamaal S. Ahmad is the Curriculum and Student Engagement Director at the Islamic School of Louisville and the founder of KAES Educational Consulting. With over 13 years of experience as an administrator, instructional coach, and Special Education instructor, Kamaal specializes in building high-performing, inclusive environments. He holds an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership & Policy, a B.S. in Special Education, and a B.A. in Philosophy, providing him with a unique "whole-child" perspective on academic growth and behavioral wellness.
Currently pursuing an M.A. in Islamic Leadership at The Islamic Seminary of America, Kamaal bridges Prophetic leadership principles with modern, evidence-based Tier 1 instructional strategies. By focusing on universal values—including Empathy, Service, Integrity, and Competence—he helps schools implement MTSS and Explicit Instruction (I Do, We Do, You Do) frameworks that move beyond mere compliance to foster genuine student agency.
